Established in 1998, our nonprofit organization is deeply committed to the convergence of arts and ecology in support of charitable endeavors.
At the core of our mission is a dedication to social responsibility, manifested through our active engagement with local communities to significantly impact the lives of disadvantaged families.
Originally founded by Robert Henrichsen de Villacis in London, Paris, and Milan as an art and fashion collective, UAAF is headquartered in Miami, Florida.
Our primary objective is to leverage the transformative power of creativity and culture to empower individuals to act as philanthropists, all while upholding environmental sustainability.
Guided by our esteemed Chairman of the Board, Olga Ortiz de Henrichsen, boasting nearly five decades of experience in humanitarian initiatives, our organization is steadfast in its commitment to fostering positive change.
Mission
Art + Ecology = Social Responsibility
Our mission centers on nurturing children through educational and nutritional initiatives, providing a platform for young artists to thrive, offering scholarships for women pursuing higher education, and empowering artisanal communities.
Vision
By the year 2030, we aspire to contribute to the realization of the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, empowering marginalized populations and rural women to enhance productivity, self-esteem, education access, nutrition, and resilience. Resilience, to us, signifies not just survival but flourishing in the face of adversity, with Miami-Dade County leading the charge as a resilient community.
Our Initiatives:
Through strategic collaborations with artists, charitable organizations, and philanthropic entities globally, UAAF works to strengthen communities facing urgent humanitarian challenges. We firmly believe that art in various forms, complemented by robust educational programs, serves as a potent tool in the fight against poverty.
